Knebel Knotes
In Psychiatry, It’s not always obvious which guidelines to learn and use. Even if we know, these can be hefty documents that prove a headache to navigate.
We wanted to make psychiatric treatment guidelines more accessable to learners. We use the most recent Canadian guidelines from CANMAT, CADDRA, APA, and more. We summarize their most relevant information into the app, and provide in-app links to the source materal.
Our goal is to empower learners and clinicians to efficiently access the most current standards in psychiatric care, so they can make the most well-informed prescribing decisions for their patients.
A full subscription is just $5 a year - an affordable, peer-reviewed reference tailored for students and future healthcare pros. All proceeds go back into funding further development of content for the app.

Strategically Organized
Psychiatry is… complicated. Wouldn’t it be nice if a psychiatrist with training in medical education poured over all the material, pulled out what’s most important, and organized it in a way that is more digestible for learners?
Well folks, that’s what we’ve done. A well-designed, user-friendly interface makes navigating Knebel Knotes effortless. Content distilled down to what is most clinically relevant, with no unnecessary minutia.
Search by…
No two clinical situations are going to present the same. With so many variables, you need a tool to sort through all the noise. Knebel Knotes’ ‘search function’ lets you search medications by indications, side effects, and severe effects. You can modify your search parameters to ‘filter-in’, ‘filter-out’, and even stack filters to find that drug that meets all your clinical variables.
Oh, and the search function lets you quickly look up drug interactions too!
Comparison Charts
Different minds, different approaches. Sometimes you need the information laid out in a different way. We get that. We’ve created multiple ways to get at the information, just like clinical practice will need you to approach a problem from different perspectives.
One way we’ve done this is with comparison tables. Look across a class of drugs, and see how characteristics vary to help you make the right choice for your patient. Or even just to help you study!
