Dr. Ryan Knebel

Founder

Dr. Knebel completed medical school and his psychiatric residency at University of Alberta. Following residency, he began to practice as Emergency Psychiatrist and Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist for Kelowna General Hospital.

Dr. Knebel has a special interest in education and the integration of technology and informatics. He is currently an associate program director for the UBC psychiatric residency program.

Colton Riguidel

Programmer

Colton Riguidel is a Junior Mobile Developer specializing in Flutter and Dart. He graduated from Okanagan College in 2024 with a Computer Information Systems Diploma and is working with Dr. Knebel to expand Knebel Knotes. He started working with Knebel Knotes in June 2024 to develop on the app's front‑end primarily, building and adding features like tables, guides, lists, charts, and medication data in an easy-to-read and user-friendly format. His goals with Knebel Knotes are to sharpen his craft and gain valuable development experience to start his career. 

Jason Herwig

Programmer

Driven by a desire to utilize his problem-solving skills fully, Jason transitioned from his role as a successful Quality Specialist at an electronics manufacturer to pursue a Computer Science education at Okanagan College. There, he not only found a new passion for technology but also honed his natural abilities in team guidance and simplifying technical information. Combining his interest in mental health with a strong motivation to make a meaningful difference, Jason chose Knebel Knotes as his capstone project, seeing it as an ideal real-world application of his passions.

Lexee Salisbury

Business Assistant

Lexee Salisbury is a dedicated Behaviour Interventionist with a strong foundation in psychology and a passion for supporting children with autism spectrum disorder. She began her post-secondary journey at Okanagan College in 2017 and later earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of British Columbia in 2023. With aspirations to further her expertise, Lexee plans to pursue a Master's degree in psychology, working toward her ultimate goal of a career in clinical psychology.
